	Getting Started To secure our services the Conservator or Trustee must present a certified copy of the Letters of Conservatorship or Guardianship, or appropriate Probate Court Documents as proof of authorization to engage our services. Once we confirm the Letters, we then seek access to the appropriate accounts that should already be authorized through letters of the Conservatorship, etc.  We then set up a computerized accounting program for the Conservatee and document all income and expenses, leading to the preparation of a budget for your review and approval. We move all funds into an appropriate savings account or Certificate of deposit that can not be accessed from the checking account, and only you have the authority to transfer funds to the checking account to cover expenses paid by us.  An overdraft account is established that is directly linked to the checking account to cover any shortfalls that may occur due to late or insufficient transfers of funds. On a weekly or bi-weekly basis we send an authorization document for us to pay monthly expenses and to move funds from the Savings account to the checking account to cover checks written on behalf of the Conservatee. As required by the court, we prepare financial documents as well as many of the required court documents for you approval and submission.  Because many of these documents are computer prepared, the time to prepare them is minimal and highly accurate. Please remember, we are not the Conservator, nor do we have any legal authority to act as one.  We are strictly a service appointed by the Conservator to provide accurate financial records and a limited number of court required documents.  We are not financial planners and cannot recommend where funds should be invested on behalf of the Conservatee.  What we will do is provide background checks on the Financial Planner you select, plus monitor the results and provide guidance as to how well the investments are performing when compared to other investment standards.
