Accounting For
Everything offers affordable, sophisticated conservatorship bookkeeping
services to individuals and organizations charged with taking care of
the elderly and others assigned to a guardian program. We
relieve you of the weekly or monthly grind of monitoring and executing financial
transactions on behalf of the family member or acquaintance in your
care.
We prepare all of the financial documents and
reports required by the court for regular presentation. We aid you
in setting up budgets and planning the financial requirements the court
has imposed or you wish to undertake.
We pay all bills approved by the conservator, plus
we monitor all bank and financial accounts to make sure no
irregularities
occur and to prevent fraud or abuse of these accounts.
We routinely monitor financial activity in all
bank accounts and make sure no transactions occur except for those
authorized and in the best interest of the Conservatee. We
immediately report all suspicious activity and if requested we will
prepare a preliminary report using public records to verify the
legitimacy of the activity in question.
If we find unauthorized or inappropriate activity
we will work with you to claw back any inappropriate payments or outlays
of funds, assuring that your family member or acquaintance will have a
secure financial future.
We do all of this at a rate that is affordable
and based on the size of the conservatorship, trust, or estate. We
clearly define our services, the costs, and what reports shall be
delivered as part of our service.
We can be hired by the family to monitor a court
appointed conservator's actions if you question their intentions.
This must be done with the court's approval and we can refer you to an
attorney who can assist you in this task.
We do not provide financial planning advice or
services, so
there is never a conflict of interest. We only report the facts
and make sure that all of the bills are paid and that any income is
properly deposited and applied to the appropriate expense or savings
accounts. We prepare tax documents on a quarterly or yearly basis
as determined by income.
When someone has to assume the burden of
guardianship or conservatorship of a family member,
hours of devotion and attention to details are required, taking you away
from your own family. Although we cannot alleviate all of the
issues, we can handle the complex task of management of the bills and income,
depositing the funds where you allocate, and then paying the bills you
approve.
